The minute you enter the bright pink door of Sugar Daddy’s, you’re in cupcake heaven! I often get a craving for something sweet and find myself driving to their doorstep. Sugar Daddy’s is a sensorial experience you will not forget, from Nutella to red velvet, strawberries and cream, Oreo, Kitkat or my personal favorite, the infamous carrot cupcake. Whatever your taste, you are sure the find something to satisfy your sweet tooth!
|Sugar Daddy’s started off as a childhood hobby for Fadi, who always had a knack for baking and entrepreneurship. His favorite pastime as a child was baking for family and friends, and that joy inspired him to think bigger and dream larger. Fadi quit the corporate world, attended the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City (and I suspect has a few Magnolia cupcakes under his belt as well) and on July 13th 2007 opened the first Sugar Daddy’s bakery in Amman, Jordan.|
Sugar Daddy’s also bakes a wide array of cakes, cookies, cheesecakes and pies. Their deserts are made from local produce and are baked fresh every day, and the good news is: there’s no smoking indoors. So all you smell is that fresh baking aroma we all love! Parking during evening hours may be a bit difficult, so you may want to park down the street and burn those calories off with a walk or jog to your car.
This Jordanian pride & joy has also branched out and spread its love to Beirut and Dubai.
And for the love of sweets…I urge you to try their gingerbread cookies, carrot cupcakes, Lavazza latte and banoffee pie! And keep your eye out for their limited quantity cupcakes like the coconut meringue or cherry Garcia!
